개요

본 연구는 ‘2017년 문화예술교육 효과 세부지표 구축 및 조사 연구’에서 개발된 효과지표를 활용하여, 진흥원 정책 사업 참여자들을 대상으로 생애주기별·사업별 특수성을
고려하여 문화예술교육의 효과를 측정하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

본 연구를 통해 문화예술교육의 효과를 종합적이고 체계적으로 측정하여 분석함으로써 문화예술교육의 효과를 이해하고 그 가치를 실증적으로 증명할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

나아가 연구결과에 대한 공유를 통해 문화예술교육의 중요성에 대한 공감대를 형성하고 향후 문화예술교육 정책사업 개선에의 시사점을 제시한다.

2018 학교 문화예술교육 실태조사 보고서
전국 초‧중‧고등학교의 문화예술교육 현황을 파악하고,학교 문화예술교육 정책추진의 기초 자료로 활용하는 데 목적으로 작성된 '2018 학교 문화예술교육 실태조사' 보고서이다. 조사를 위해 전국 초․중․고등학교 11,625개교를 대상으로 전수조사가 진행되었으며 이를 위해 문화체육관광부, 교육부, 시·도교육청, 지역교육청의 협조로 각 단위학교로 공문을 발송하여 진행되었다. 조사기간은 2018년 9월 3일 ~ 10월 10일 약 6주이며 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 도출하였다.   본 보고서의 구성은 초‧중‧고등학교의 정규 교육과정 내의 교과(군)과 창의적 체험 활동과 정규 교육과정 외의 자율동아리, 방과후학교 등으로 구분하여 문화예술교육의 실태를 파악하였다. 또한 문화예술교육을 위한 정부부처 및 지자체 등에서의 외부 지원 사업 관련 현황 및 문화예술교육 시설 등을 통해 학교 문화예술교육을 둘러싼 다양한 환경을 살펴보고자 하였다.   연구에는 (책임연구자)윤혜란, (공동연구자)김혜경, 이경언, 정수기, 옥경인, (연구보조원)김다현이 참여하였다.
